DAY 1: Cusco – Abra Málaga – Santa María (Biking) – Santa Teresa

  • Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Cusco

  • Drive to Abra Málaga (4,316 m / 14,160 ft)

  • Downhill biking through cloud forest landscapes

  • Arrival in Santa María

  • Optional activities: rafting (seasonal, extra cost)

  • Optional visit to Cocalmayo Hot Springs (extra cost)

  • Continue to Santa Teresa

  • Overnight in Santa Teresa

DAY 2: Santa Teresa – Hydroelectric – Aguas Calientes (Hiking)

  • Walk along the train tracks to Aguas Calientes

  • Dinner and briefing for Machu Picchu

  • Overnight in Aguas Calientes

DAY 3: Machu Picchu – Return to Cusco
